Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Aunt returned to our Heavenly Father on March 12, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Union, Utah Nov. 5, 1929 to Thomas H. Walke and Peninnah Raine Naylor, she was the youngest of ten children. Married Glen B. Thacker, later divorced. They had four children, son Daniel Thacker (Shanna), daughters Connie Osborne (Arnold), Susan McCall (Ralph), Sharon Harding (Dee). Later married Bruce David Baumbach, they had a wonderful happy life together for 30 years. They traveled all fifty states and many foreign countries.
They especially enjoyed their friends in Orem, Woodland Hills and Lehi. She worked for Western Electric and ATandT for fifteen years before retiring in Colorado. Her most favorite times were with her husband, children and grandchildren; she loved the time we all spent together. She was blessed with 15 Grandchildren, 20 Great grandchildren and 2 Great-great grandchildren. Mom will be so greatly missed by her children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Bruce, her parents, nine brothers and sisters, two granddaughters and son-in-law Arnold who will be having a happy reunion with her in Heaven. Viewing Friday March 13, from 6-8 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary 1950 East 10600 South Sandy, Utah 84092. Services will be held Sat., March 14 at 11:30 am at the LDS Chapel, 2790 North Center St., Lehi, Utah 84043 with a viewing from 10:30-11:15 am.
