Juanita Annette Negrete

1961 ~ 2017

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend, Juanita Annette Negrete, passed away on Sunday April 9, 2017 in Salt Lake City, UT. The daughter of Pete and Rumelia Arellanes Gallegos, Juanita was born on February 22, 1961 in Salt Lake City, UT.

She had many different interests including helping others as much as she could, living life with a positive attitude, dancing, smiling and a lot of laughing! However, her passion for her 4 children and 8 grandchildren was her greatest interest. There was not a single time we ever heard her yell at her grandchildren and she loved them with all of her heart. She had an unrelenting strength and hope in life and was extremely protective of her children and grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend and was always helping others without thinking twice. She had the most generous heart and hilarious sense of humor that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her family and friends will always be thankful for the gift that was her life and she will be missed dearly. She will always be held in a very special place in our hearts and we can only hope to have our mother\s strength, kindness, compassion, love, sense of humor and patience she showed everyday of her life. Mom, we will always and forever love you!

Juanita is survived by her children and spouses; Jose (Maggie), Ernesto (Danna), Sammy (Zach), Erica (Mikey) and grandchildren; Emilio, Aliyah, Enrique, Sophia, Olivia, Violet, Simon and Baby Claire. Also 5 brothers, 4 sisters, so many nieces and nephews and countless friends.

She is preceded in death by Pete Gallegos (Father), Rumelia Gallegos (Mother), Geraldine Larsen (Sister), Peter Gallegos (Brother), Rudy Gallegos (Brother), Dorothy Starr (Sister), Albert Gallegos (Brother) and Mary Gallegos (Sister).
