William, age 70, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully at home. Born In Bingham Canyon, Utah, Bill's family moved to Salt Lake City where he attended East High School. He then joined his bothers in Las Vegas to work in the casino industry. In 1972 he married Janice Service at the Little Chapel of the West. Together they raised two wonderful boys Christopher and Scott. Bill moved his family back to Salt Lake City in 1977 when his boys were two and one. Bill loved golfing, skiing, and fishing with family and friends, but his greatest and proudest joy was his 23 month old grandson, Christian. He was his "Pa-Pa" and they had many fun hours playing together. They loved each other so much and Christian will miss him dearly. Bill was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He had a great sense of humor and liked joking around and making people laugh, but he was also always willing to lend a hand and be there when someone needed help. He will be greatly missed.
Bill is survived by his wife Janice, oldest son Christopher (Jennifer), grandson Christian, son Scott (Karen), brothers Jose, Nelson, Gil, Mike, sisters, Otelia, Leanne, Elizabeth. Preceded in death by his first grandson Ethan, father Tony and mother Eva, sister Adrienne, brothers Tony and Bobby.
Funeral service and viewing will be held at: Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City on June 14th at 11:00 am
