Melissa passed away in a place she loved, Topaz Mountain in the Utah west desert. She had a very lively personality with the soul of an artist. Her wide variety of interests also included gardening, physics, geology, cooking and traveling.
Melissa was preceded in death by her mother Mary and her sister Susie. She is survived by her daughter, Sierra, her brother Tom (Rosie), her father Gene, and her nephews and nieces, Mckensie, Reed, Rowena and Slade.She is missed by her family and her many friends, all of whom were recipients of her generosity.
Funeral Services will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd, Sandy, UT on Friday, November 9th at 2:00 pm, with a visitation starting at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions in memory of Melissa to National Alliance on Mental Illness, Utah. ‚Äãwww.namiut.org
