Aaliyah Jay Dennett

2022 ~ 2022

Obituary Photo for Aaliyah Jay Dennett < >

After 3 days of fighting to arrive, Aaliyah Jay Dennett lit up the room on October 27th, 2022. She was named for her late uncle as well as beauty and grace. Her first moments were spent kissing her mother's cheek. During her short time on earth she loved to smile, receive eskimo nose kisses, experience the love of her brother/doggie siblings and to be in her fathers arms. She was soft & sweet, gentle in temperament and easy to love. Although she spent a short three weeks in this world, passing in her sleep on November 17th, 2022, her impact will last a lifetime. She was perfect & pure - a reflection of God's love and beauty in creation. She is survived by her parents, Susana Myla Dennett & Amir Jeriah Ellis Sr. She leaves behind a big brother, Amir Jr. - who will love his "baby girl" forever.

A service will be held December 3rd at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary in Salt Lake City, Utah. Please join us for a visit & slide show from 1-2 pm followed by a service from 2-3 pm. All welcome to attend in person or zoom and a recorded option will be available afterwards.

My beautiful sweet baby granddaughter Aaliyah Jay you couldnโ€™t hear me saying to you that granny loves you so much and that I was on my way to meet and cuddle you. I now ask that you patiently wait for the time when granny will meet you in the sacred eternal place that you now call home.
I know that you were chosen to add to the beautiful garden of souls in heaven. I also know that the Lord and all the angels are caring for you.
Amir and Susana, Aaliyah was sent here for a short 3 weeks because she had a special assignment to fulfill and although she had to leave her spirit is and will continue to work.

I was scrolling to find my mothers obituary and I saw the picture of your sweet little girl. My heart instantly broke for you, her family. What a sweet looking Angel. My mom would always cry when she saw babies in the obituaries. That is what prompted me to let you know my condolences. It looks like they shared a birthday too, which hit a bit close to home.

I hope you are able to carry her in your hearts forever, and though her time here was brief, she was very obviously loved.
