It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Adam Kenneth Smith while at the place that he loved, his family cabin, on June 11, 2023. He was born on October 6, 1981, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Adam is survived by his parents, Rick and Sherri Smith; his brother, Aaron Smith (Ranelle Shaver); his Aunts and Uncles that loved him so much, Sue Allsop, Jeff Stauffer, Candie and John VanderMeyden, Debbie and Mike Thornton, Mary Morelli and pseudo-Aunt Lori Dunn; Grandmother, Barbara Urry, and many wonderful Cousins. Adam will be reunited with his beloved brothers, Devin and Landon Smith; Grandparents, Ken Morelli, Emogene Morelli, Ray Smith, Carol Stauffer and Floyd Stauffer; Uncle Kim Morelli; Aunts Kathe Cummings and Jude Allsop; Cousins David “Marty” Allsop, Rande Maynes, Alex Saurdiff, Brandon Allsop and Chris Allsop. We are grateful for the joyful reunion they are surely having in heaven.
Adam spent his childhood years in Sandy, Utah and later moved to Mesquite, Nevada. He attended Jordan High School and worked as a foreman and heavy equipment operator for over 15 years and was most recently employed as a security officer. Adam took great pride in his Italian heritage and enjoyed spending time golfing, swimming, bowling, four wheeling and fishing at his family’s cabin in Tabiona.
Adam was a big dreamer with a kind heart and had a unique and wonderful sense of humor. He made friends easily and cherished his life-long friendships. He was enthusiastic and passionate about his Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles football teams and loved watching football with his father and brother. His great pride and joy was his Kia Optima car, which he kept immaculate.
Adam will be deeply missed by his parents, brother, aunts, uncles, grandmother, cousins and friends. His parents were so grateful and proud of the way he took care of them in Mesquite when they needed him the most during his father’s critical surgeries.
We love you with all our heart Adam and will miss you dearly. “Arrivederci” until we meet again and we will not “fuhgeddaboutit” (one of Adam’s favorite lines).
A private service will be held in Adam’s honor for immediate family on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 South, Sandy, Utah.

I’m sure he was a great man and my boyfriend was very close with him. It’s so sad to see anyone you even somewhat know pass. I’m sorry to those who are close with him and i wish them the best throughout their sorrow❤️.

My heart is broken!! I keep replaying so many memories I have of you over and over in my head. We had so many laughs together, late nights watching dumb shows in your room with the volume on full blast, making “Karl nachos” at random late night hours, you singing songs to me on the karaoke machine at the cabin, teasing me about my “tiger nose”. You always had a way of teasing me yet loving me so hard at the same time. You would say something stupid and then turn around and scoop me up and tell me how
much you loved me even though I was annoyed with you. You never let that last very long and you always made sure I knew you loved me. I wish I could tell you and your brothers how much I love all of you and the huge role you’ve all played in my life. I’ll miss you a lot Tads. I hope you, Dev, & Landy had the happiest reunion.

I remember sheri and Rick's sons when they were children. I use to give them rides on my horse, they loved it! I am so sorry for there loss. One day we will see them again when there will be no awful problems that we will have to deal with today.

I will sure miss my cousin Adam, since I can remember, there wasn't anything I loved more then staying at my cousins house Aaron and Adam we always knew how to have a good time, watching movies like Casino, Donnie brasco and Good Fellas, we are cousins but close as brothers, I have so many memories with Tados he will be deeply missed loved his Laugh and how he thought everything was funny! Family party's will never be the same without you Tado.
I know Adam missed his brothers Landon and Devin Deeply, knowing they are there to greet him helps alot. Until we meet again.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. I know that it must be very hard losing all 3 of your sons at such a early.
