Addison Kylie Plumb

2012 ~ 2023

Addison Kylie Plumb was born to Kyle and Renae Plumb March 23rd, 2012. After a long and hard fought battle with cancer, she returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father.

She was a bright and bubbly young girl who brought immense joy to her family and all those who knew her. She had an infectious personality that drew people to her and she was loved by all who met her. She will always be remembered for her wit, humor, imagination, personal style and the joy she brought to those around her.

She had a passion for learning and loved going to school. She won a state wide Reflections Award for her portrayal of a hero. She was an excellent student, and had many friends in school.

Addison had a love for math and creative writing, and would spend hours writing stories with her Grandpa. Her favorite stories they wrote were titled A Sea Turtle Named Bob and the High Mountain Meadow Mustangs. She loved to make up spooky stories, that were never really that spooky. She cherished family outings, especially those in her Grandparents' Camper. She loved spending time in the mountains, going to Gardner Village, dinners at Little America and Texas Roadhouse, Daddy daughter dates to Culvers, visiting the pumpkin patch, trips to Target, riding the ferris wheel, visiting Thanksgiving Point, feeding the fish at Cabela's, night drives with her mom, and visits to the donut shop with her
Grandpa.

Despite her battle with cancer, Addison found happiness in the little things, like playing on the swings, playing sudoku, and winning games of checkers and parcheesi. She enjoyed watching movies like Turning Red, Father of the Bride, Sonic the Hedgehog and all the Barbie movies. She loved reading books and her favorites were Mermaid Tales, Piggy & Gerald, and Tooth Fairy's Night. Her artistic talents shone through with her creation of mini vlogs, drawings, paintings, and her bedazzled creations. She often made-up magic recipes with her Mom. She also loved midnight Karaoke parties with her mom. She loved to live in the moment and found joy in all things.

She loved playing with mermaid kinetic sand and playdough. In true Addi fashion, all playdough was kitchen themed and she loved making pretend food to serve to her family. She enjoyed playing short order cook and pretending to run her own food truck and being a waitress.

Addison's favorite foods included salad with croutons, chips with her famous guacamole, her mom's Greek salad, and cheese pizza with extra sauce. She always requested her Grandma's strawberry poke cake and her chocolate frosting.

Her goals were to grow up to be a general surgeon, a chef, and an artist. She always wanted to visit Paris and the Eifel Tower.

Addison's passing is a great loss to her family and friends. The family thanks those who cared for her and prayed for her during her cancer battle. A special thanks to the amazing people at Primary Children's Hospital that cared for Addison.

Addison is survived by her loving parents and family. Private services were held.

I will always remember Addison. She was a fighter and so was her mama. You are both some of the strongest people I know. I hope peace finds your family during this transition. Much love ❤️
