Florence Jayne Smith, 93, of Sandy, Utah died August 2, 2013 at her Sandy home.
Jayne was born June 12, 1920 in Park River, North Dakota to Vernie and Treva (Roney) Scott.
Her interests included china painting, playing cards, and fishing in the ocean. She enjoyed her family, chocolate and her coffee BLACK, even to the very end.
She attended the Sandy and Murray Senior Centers, and enjoyed all of the dances they held. She volunteered at St. Joseph's Hospital in Orange, California in the NICU.
Jayne is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Darryl and Sandy Smith of Sandy, UT; grandchildren Charity and Collin Child, Bret Smith, Melissa Herron, Adam Park, Shauna Smith, Sarah Smith, and Baylee Bearden; great grandchildren Cameron, Christian, Cami, Sami, Colby, Aiden, MiKayla, Sean and Bode.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ras Smith.
