Alan Dean Williams, 61, of Eagle Mountain, Utah, passed away on September 28, 2022 after a long and grievous battle with Colorectal Cancer.

Alan was born on July 22, 1961, to Roger Dean Williams and Dorothy Jean Williams in Burlingame, California. After graduating from El Camino High School with an emphasis in Auto Body Repair and Mechanics. Alan went on to pursue his entrepreneurial desires of owning his own body shop. Through trial and error, Alan tested his skills on anything that had wheels. He soon opened a body shop in the Bay Area where some of his clients like Reggie Jackson entrusted him with painting some of their all-time favorite classic vehicles.

Alan was a true afficionado of all things automotive. Following the impressions and example of his father Roger, Alan honed his craft and found many successful ventures as an entrepreneur in the auto body industry. His work ethic laid the foundation for a well-known reputation of a true automotive artist. His reputation preceded him as his roommates had mutual connections who knew Brandi Van Wye, who would eventually enter into a sacred covenant of matrimony.

Alan married Brandi, not too long after meeting her, in February of 1989. Alan was survived by his wife Brandi, (59), son Travis (31), daughter Aubree (29), son Connor (27), and daughter Makinsee (24).

Anyone who knew Al knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Al was never one to settle for status quo. He strived for greatness and success, even through his chemo treatments. He truly was determined to defy odds in every manner of life.

There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, October 8th, 2022 at 2080 Pinecrest Lane, Sandy, Ut 84092. Viewing will begin at 9:00 am and the service will begin at 11:00 AM. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy, UT.
