Allison Armstrong Glad, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, was eased from the pains of her mortal life on the morning of Saturday, May 27, 2023, from heart failure. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories.

Allison was a loving mother, a caring wife, and a dear friend to many. Born on October 29, 1965, in Sandy, Utah to Marilyn Moss and Ellis Bruce Armstrong, she was a beacon of light and positivity to those around her. Throughout her life, Allison had a remarkable ability to bring joy and comfort to everyone she encountered, especially children. Her constant kindness, compassionate nature, and love made her a source of strength for all she befriended.

Allison's memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Clay Glad, who shared a deep and enduring love with her. They were acquaintances and friends since the age of 7, dated often in their teens, and had nearly 33 years together as husband and wife after being sealed for eternity in the Jordan River Temple on June 6, 1990. Their bond was built on a foundation of friendship, love, companionship, and unwavering support.
Aside from her devotion to her family, she loved helping children. She studied elementary education and worked as an elementary school aide for many years. She enjoyed, and often found comfort, serving in the Primary as a lifelong active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her compassionate spirit and selflessness touched countless lives, making her an invaluable asset to her community. Allison's greatest joy in life came from her role as a mother. She raised her children with immense love and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.

During her life, Allison showed great strength and resilience in the face of adversity. She approached her challenges with a determination to overcome them. Her past 5 years suffering with many health issues shows her strength emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Her unwavering strong spirit serves as a reminder to us all to embrace life's obstacles with courage and a positive outlook.

She is survived by her mother, Marilyn Armstrong; two brothers Ted (Julie) and Eric (Clarissa) Armstrong; her husband, Clay Glad; her children Cody (Ashlyn), Aaron, Caleb, and Amanda; and two grandchildren, Felicity and Felix. Allison's love for her children, and pride in their accomplishments was immeasurable, and her influence will continue to guide and inspire them throughout their journeys.

Friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of Allison Armstrong Glad's life on at 11Am on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the Anthem Ward Building, 5658 West Yukon Park Lane in Herriman Utah. A viewing will be held at the same location Friday evening from 6-8PM, as well as Saturday prior to funeral services beginning at 10AM. Interment will follow at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Sandy, Utah.

Together, let us honor her memory and find comfort in the knowledge that she will forever live on in our hearts.
