Obituary Photo for Alyssa Brooke Jessop < >

Alyssa Brooke Jessop graduated her life on Friday May 26th 2023 at the young age of 30.

Alyssa Brooke Jessop, born May 9th, 1993, becoming Brooke and Bob’s first child and gift on Mother’s Day. She was born quiet and somber with eyes wide open, simply taking it all in. We’ve always said that she was born an old soul. As a child she had the cutest lisp, bounciest blonde curls and almond shaped eyes, that would stop traffic when she got older. With an inviting and fun personality, she would captivate everyone around her. When she learned how to talk she would call her Mother, Mom and her Father, Bob bringing joy and laughter to anyone who heard.

Alyssa has always been a dynamic diva with a big heart and equally impressive attitude. Her tiny body could not contain her ginormous spirit. What she lacked in size, she made up for in bold eccentric expressions. Her friends and family will tell you at her core she has always been sweet and sensitive. As her dad would say she was like a cute baby porcupine, prickly on the outside yet soft and squishy on the inside. Alyssa was fiercely loyal and a defender of the one’s she loved. She was full of compassion and had an exceptionally tender heart for the misunderstood. She truly cherished animals for their innocence and unconditional love.

At age 15 Alyssa was diagnosed with several autoimmune disorders, which progressively got worse. Yet, she never let them define her. Although her diseases hindered her goals, they did not hinder her ambition. She graduated high school a year early while doing home and hospital. Throughout her life she pursued her gift and passion of art. At 18 her dream of becoming a tattoo artist began, leading to a lifetime career (Nyx Macabre). Alyssa took meticulous pride in her artistry. Throughout those 12 years her art became a living legacy.

Alyssa is survived by her two fur baby’s, Wicket(9) and Lucian(4); Her parents, El Fabio(Bob), Mothership(Brooke); her siblings Skye, Eliza(Loki), Elek, Adam and Teyanna(Athena); Her niece Rilee and nephews Braden, and Joshua; Her grandmas Faye, and Linda Kelsch. As well as her vast extended family, aunts, uncles, and countless cousins. She had many close friends throughout her life but ones that impacted her the most recently were her long-time best friend Tyler Keepers and her apprentice Cassandra (Kyle) Beckstead. Along with her Uncle Alma Kelsch and Uncle Rich and Aunt Stina Jessop.

She was Greeted by her maternal grandparents, Gary and Renee Kelsch; her paternal grandparents, Jim and Nan and Thelma Jessop. With many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was looking forward to being with her first fur babies Puddles, D’Artagnan, and Lithia.

Guestbook/Condolences

Alyssa was a beautiful individual. She had her own unique personality, that I absolutely loved. She spoke her mind, and stood true to what she believed in. I admire that about her. She will be greatly missed by us all.

Heaven received a beautiful soul home. Alyssa was such a sweet spirited woman. She was so passionate about her art and her family. I didn’t get to know her very closely, but sharing Wicket allowed me to get to see into her world and I loved the opportunity to get to know her better than I otherwise would have.

Love for Alyssa and her family. You are all in my thoughts ❤️
