Amie Elizabeth Valerio Salazar (1966-2025) passed away at home on August 12, 2025. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Amie was the daughter of Maclovio Margarito Valerio and Ina Linda Schultz Valerio. She graduated from Alta High School in 1984 and from the University of Utah in 1989. Amie worked most recently as an administrative assistant for Draper City.

Amie is survived by her husband of 29 wonderful years, Mario Salazar; Her children Jackson Vaughn Salazar and Amanda (James) Salazar; her grandson, James Fodera; her two brothers, Max Benjamin Valerio and Joseph Henry (Amy) Valerio; and her father, Maclovio Margarito Valerio. A celebration of Amie's life will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road in Sandy, Utah.
