Zada Fern Howell Norman, age 95, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2013. She was born April 6, 1918, in Fairview, Utah, to Hannah Lucinda Hurst and Edmund Sylvanus Howell.
Zada married Herbert Rex Norman on April 13, 1938 in the Manti Temple. After 72 happy years of marriage, Rex passed away in 2010. They were active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Zada was a temple worker for many years.
Zada, Rex and family enjoyed many camping and fishing trips together over the years. Zada was a wonderful cook, specializing in pies, hot rolls, and homemade candy and chocolates. She won many blue ribbons at county and state fairs.
Survived by their 3 children: Nelva Loy Griffiths (Arnold), Marjorie Westra (LaMar), and Merrill Rex Norman (Lorrie), and 18 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her 6 siblings, and two grandchildren.
