Arlene Gertino passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025, from age related natural causes, she was 86 years old.
She was sweet, fun to be around, and a very caring person. She had many friends, she would sit and visit with over a cup of coffee. Arlene was very creative, she loved oil painting beautiful floral arrangements and was very good at it.
She is survived by her daughter and best friend "two sweet peas in a pod" Diane Gertino Bintz (Charlie), daughter in law Robin Gertino Vezeau (Mike), and Angela Gertino.
She will be missed!!! There will be no services.
Guestbook/Condolences
The memories are many, she was the "other mother" to us all. Her laughter, love of others and strength to call out the bad when she saw it. In her later years, she had a card table with two chairs at the end of the drive way, and it was a sign that anyone was welcome. There was never a conversation with her that didn't include her "one of a kind" laughter. She never left the house with out looking like she had spent hours on her appearance, which was accompanied by the love of her life FRANK! They made our neighborhood fun and created memories I'll take with me to the end. All the summer days and nights playing in the "HUGE" back yard surrounded by his green thumb creations. She was my mom! I'm grateful that she is with everyone else who made my childhood something I brag about always. Diane, your are and were a gift to both your family and to us! You never complained about the hardship of taking care of both your husband, but also your relentless love for her! She will be dearly missed, but she left a legacy behind that I hope to get back in my life when you come back home! We have memories beyond from our early days, and now we'll get to make more in our golden years! She was blessed with you. Her wingless angel! I love you and your family!
Diane we are so sorry to hear about Arlene. She was so kind to us all the time. So many memories. I am sure Mike and I caused some of her gray hairs. You took such loving care of her during her difficult times.
Our hearts ache, for you too. It is so difficult to loose a parent She is resting in peace I am sure of it.
Much Love.
