After a long and hard fought battle with Lewy body dementia Don K. Roberts passed through the veil to begin a new and wonderful journey.
He was born on February 12, 1939 in Rexburg, ID to Kenneth and Athalia Roberts. He was the 2nd of 5 children. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and in 1959 served a 2 year mission in the South West States Mission. He was also associated with the Arabian Horse Association of Utah and served as president at one time. He owned and operated Paul's Candies until his retirement in 2004.
He married Leatrice Stein and they had 3 children. They were divorced years later. He then met Arlene E. Colton. They were married September 28, 1974. She passed away November 4, 1989. They had one child together. He then met Nola Bullock Story. They were married July 13, 1990 and welcomed her son to his family.
He is survived by his wife; Nola, five children; Don Jr., Daniel, Loretta, Jennifer and step son Brandon, mother; Athalia Roberts, siblings; Renee (Marvin) Schritter, Dennis (Jan) Roberts, Larry (Jane) Roberts, sister in law; Rosalie Roberts (Val deceased), 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, brother Val Roberts and sister in law, Karen Kendall Roberts.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 at Lehi 45th Ward, 127 E 3200 N. in Lehi. A viewing will be held from 11-11:45 am prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E Dimple Dell Rd (10600 S) in Sandy.
