Ashby Snow Decker, our dear old Dad, finished his time on Earth March 7th. He gave that rare gift, unconditional love and constant support, to his adoring wife of 65 years, to his three sons, and to his cherished friends who enriched his life. Anne, you have Bret and my condolences in the passing of Ashby. You are both wonderful neighbors and we will miss seeing Ashby at the pool swimming every day during the summer. We knew that Ashby was accomplished and wonderful to you, but wow he was Renaissance man, what a full and wonderful life.

One of the true joys in my life was getting to know Ashby. We were both members of the Alta Club and served together on the board of directors. We both loved the theater. Especially watching Anne perform. Our love of food and wine lead us to La Chaine. Ashby as the organization head and me as a member for more than thirty years.

Ashby was brilliant, but never arrogant. Humble and caring was his mode. Once a friend, always a friend. He loved life and a good laugh. The world will not be the same without him. Love,

- Don Winder
