Robert Kirk Williams

1951 ~ 2017

Robert Kirk Williams passed away peacefully at his home on November 6, 2017 in Salt Lake City UT. He was born April 2, 1951 in Washington DC. He was adopted at birth, by JD and Barbara Williams. He enlisted in the United States Army where he served in Vietnam as a combat medic. He married Sheri (later divorced) they remained close up until his death. Kirk was born and blessed with the most loving and patient family. He loved nature, trees, camping and children. He loved the homeless he gave his life to helping others. He loved to draw and play games and design houses, cars and airplanes. He was a very talented artist. He loved telling jokes, laughing and watching baby cat videos with his daughter.

He loved his daughter Teresa, his only child. She gave him the reason to be alive and stay alive. She was his fire, his rainbow, and his reason to smile. The light and tears in his eyes. He was very proud of her. She was his constant miracle and best friend, inspiration, joy, comedian and teacher.

Kirk is survived by his loving daughter Teresa, Gil (Cindy), Taylor (Sheryl), and Kim (John) D'Agostino, he was preceded in death by daughter Tamara and parents JD and Barbara Williams.

We love him and will miss him very much, and will live our lives to make him proud.

No formal services will be held. In lieu of a funeral a get together will be held at Larkin Mortuary at 260 East South Temple from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday November 16, 2017.
