Evelyn passed away early on July 21, 2018. She was born to John and Mary Novak in Park City, Utah. She and her family moved to Salt Lake City in 1944 where she attended Bryant Jr. High and West High School. She graduated in 1948. Evelyn married Dean Thuet on September 1, 1951.They had two daughters, Debbie and Cindy. Evelyn and Dean divorced in 1969. She went on to study at Stevens Henager College. She was an executive secretary at American Oil, and then she worked for the California Arts Commission. She later went back to working for American Oil, and retired from the oil industry in 1992.
She is survived by her sister Ann Voyles, her Daughters Debbie (Kurt) and Cindy (Gary), Grandson Cody (Tara), Great Grandaughter Nikaya, Step-Grandaughter Melissa Magrady (Jim), Step Great Grandsons Peyton McWhorter and Rylee Magrady. Her brothers John, Joe, and Phil predeceased her.
