Jennifer Scott, 32, precious daughter, sister, aunt and friend, returned home to her Heavenly Father and older brother, Jesus Christ on January 28, 2014 after complications following brain surgery. Jennifer was born on July 28, 1981 to Matthew Noel Scott and Marina DE Edmonds Scott in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the middle of 7 children and favorite aunt to 22 nieces and nephews. Jennifer always sought to help bear the burdens of others. All who knew her will miss her infectious smile, childlike spirit and selfless personality. Though she never married, she found ways to mother any who were in need. Her ability to see beyond her own trials and love others unconditionally will be her legacy. She wanted all to know of their Savior, Jesus Christ and His healing atonement. She bore testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ often. She completed her earthly mission with honor.
Jennifer is survived by her father and stepmother, Laura, brothers Bryan (Kristie), Aaron (Maria), Cameron (Natasha) and Travis, sisters Emily (Mark), and Valeri (Eli), as well as beloved nieces, nephews, grandmas, aunts, uncles and cousins, and many, many friends. She has been reunited with her mother, grandpas and many more loved ones.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 4 at 11 a.m. at the Sandy Utah Crescent Ridge Stake Center, 1295 East 11000 South. Friends and Family may visit at the Stake Center Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Her body will be laid to rest next to her mother\s at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
