Barbara Billings Chugg went to her Heaven Home March 12th, 2021. Barbara (Meme) was born May 23rd, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the daughter of Leon Young Billings and Viola Ashworth Billings.

Meme the most loving sweet angel was finally reunited with her husband, Don (Bops), daughter Cathy, and son Ken! They are having a wonderful celebration! Meme was a loving mother and friend to everyone that met her! She was gifted in many area’s, a talented seamstress, expert quilter and she crocheted beautifully! She made beautiful porcelain dolls and the clothes they wore.

Barbara married Donald Melvin Chugg on June 5th, 1948, she met him at the Gold and Green Ball, when she was 13, they got married 4 years later! They had 3 children, Cathleen, Sandra and Kenneth.
Don worked at the phone company, his job took them from Ogden to Price, Salt Lake City, to Helena,Montana and then to Missoula,Montana. In 2016 they moved to Draper, Utah to be close to their daughter Sandy.

Barbara’s husband Don preceded her in death, (1/19/2019), as well as son, Kenneth Melvin Chugg of Boise,Idaho (10/3/2018), and daughter Cathleen Chugg Swing of Park City, Utah (11/15/1999); sisters, Fay Billings Moore, Helen Emma Billings (Jacob, Dickerson); brothers, Thomas Ashworth Billings and Richard Leon Billings.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Sandra Chugg Klein and husband Seth of Draper, Utah, daughter in law, Cheri Chugg of Boise, Idaho. Grandchildren; Jason Schultz of Draper,Utah, Jesse Swing of Sweden, Blaise Swing of Salt Lake City, Utah, Sierra Swing of Seattle, Washington, Jannicke Swing of Heber City, Utah, Jessica Chugg of Boise, Idaho, Lindsi Chugg Lee and husband Stephen Lee, Lisa Chugg Hedge and husband Seth Hedge, grandchildren; Carter, Hudson, Hazel, Hawkin, Holly, Leo and Lucas.

A celebration held in her honor, will be held at a later date! She will be laid to rest at Larkin Sunset Lawn in Salt Lake, City,Utah. Until we meet again, we love you Meme!
