Celebration of Life

Sunday Jul 7, 2024 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Barbara “Bobbie” Walker Lowther, passed away on June 29, 2024, in Draper, Utah. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on November 21, 1942, to Hope Rock and Wallace Reed Walker, Bobbie was the “big sister” to Brent and Danny.

Bobbie married David Alan Lowther in 1962. They are the parents of Trina Lowther Ekstrom, and Ryan Lowther. David (deceased 1993) and Bobbie later divorced and she married Brent Kennedy (also deceased 2007).

Bobbie loved the outdoors, camping, travel and all that nature offered. She was a talented artist who didn’t use her talent nearly enough. Family always came first for her. She enjoyed her trips to the dollar store, especially to pick out the perfect card for those she loved. Bobbie spent extra time making sure to find just the right birthday and Christmas gifts for everyone. She coached her son and daughters softball and baseball teams for many years. She loved to laugh and have fun. We will miss the free and happy spirit she shared with everyone.

She is survived by her daughter Trina (Burke) Ekstrom, son David Ryan (Laura) Lowther, brother Brent Walker, grandchildren Nicholas Kennedy, Brandon (Kelsey) Kennedy, Breanna Lowther, Skyler Lowther, Bert (Amie) Ekstrom, Burke Ekstrom Jr., Andrew Ekstrom and great-grandchildren Eden, Effy and Devlyn Ekstrom.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Brent, brother Danny, and grandsons Kaden Lowther, and Jason Ekstrom.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Ryan and Laura Lowther’s residence on July 7, 2024, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. Please contact Ryan, Laura or other family members for the address and any details.
