Barbara Wiseman Lovell passed from this life on February 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Mel and Dora Wiseman on April 20th, 1937 in a happy home located in Cottonwood, Utah. She was simply known to her close friends and family as Bobbie. She always said that she had an idyllic childhood, and graduated from Olympus High School in 1955. She received a graduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of Utah and taught various elementary grades for 30 years. She was an influential leader in education participating in many local and national leadership positions.
She married E. Douglas Lovell in the Salt Lake Temple on August 20, 1965, and was the loving mother of three children; Carla, Stephanie, and Matthew. She has 14 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. She was passionate about her family, and always made her home a warm and loving gathering place. She will be best remembered for the love of her family. She will also be well remembered for her love of music, the theater, and her many close friends. She and Doug loved to travel having visited 77 different countries and 49 of the 50 states.
Barbara Wiseman Lovell was a truly remarkable woman. Her children and grandchildren will always remember and praise her name. She leaves a powerful legacy of love that will be passed on down through many generations. This world is a much better place because of her, and her powerful presence will be greatly missed by all those people whose lives she has blessed with her love.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Monday March 2nd at the LDS Ward House at: 851 North 1200 East, Lehi, Utah
Viewings will be held at the same location on Sunday Evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm
And again on Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:45am.
Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens following the Funeral.

Oh Doug and family im so very sorry for your loss. She was an amazing woman and her loss will be remembered by many. I always looked forward to seeing her at the family reunions. She was always so bubbly and sweet. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and im so sorry I was unable to make it. Janette Dastrup Woodhouse (Coleen and John's oldest daughter)
