  • Dad, Grandpa, husband, uncle, friend…

To know our father was to know love unconditionally, when he loved you, you knew it, because he showed his love in every way he possibly could, sometimes just by looking into his eyes, you knew how much you were loved.

To know him was to know humility and humbleness of soul. He was faithful to God and was God's soldier on earth. He was known to pray the Rosary several times a day and to read the bible every day, sometimes at 3:00 am. His devotion to God and his family was a beautiful tribute to who he was and to his living soul now.

Our father served with love and was always there for anyone who needed him…whatever it was he would find a way to give of himself to make someone’s life easier. He proudly served his country as a Marine, one of the things he was most proud of, and left us knowing that as children and grandchildren of his, that we were of a Marine and that we were tough like him and could make it through our toughest challenges in life. However, you are never prepared to lose your hero.

The joys of his life were his children, grandchildren, his wife, nieces, nephew’s relatives, and friends that are too many to count. At the top of his list was hunting and camping with his son grandsons and niece, fishing with his wife, family, friends, our family traditions, and saluting all of us with his favorite honey whisky.

Our father never complained but when asked how he was doing he always answered in an excited voice and a big smile GOOD!!
We will miss his wisdom, his advice, his laugh, his hugs, his touch, his phone calls, his dancing, and mostly his love.

He believed in always trying new things and supported us in any new adventures we wanted to do in life. Still, at 86 years old we could get grandpa to try anything as long as he was with us, he was willing and happy to do whatever it was that we wanted him to do, and it made us happy too!

He is survived by his son Bill Marty Jaramillo, his grandchildren, Sylis Martin Jaramillo, Marty Solomon Jaramillo, Gabriella Annette Jaramillo and Noah Cooper Jaramillo, his daughter and son-in-law Pamela J Williams and Gregg Williams, his wife Teresa Jaramillo and her daughters, Amy Rivera, Lisa Rivera, Laurie Rivera, and Arlene Rivera, sister Alice Martin and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and Friends.

He is gone from this world, but his soul still lives. He will be forever in our hearts and we will carry on for him telling his story’s, remembering his advice, and toasting to him with honey whisky knowing how blessed we were to have him, and his love touch our lives.

A viewing will take place from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South). A viewing will be from 6:00 – 6:45 pm, family speakers from 6:45 – 7:30 pm, and a rosary at 7:30 pm.

A private mass for family only will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021. Graveside services with Military Honors will take place at 1:00 pm on Friday at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Interment in the Garden of Prayer and Meditation.

I am so sad to hear of Bill’s passing. Our condolences to Bill’s family. Bill was a true friend to me and my family, and especially to my husband Johnny. We met Bill in the late 1970’s as we were all involved with the kids’ baseball and then the K-Club. The friendship had lasted all these many years. Bill was such a good guy. Few people touch your life in such a beautiful way. It was such a blessing to know him. We will miss him.
