Beth Jones Pugmire

1932 ~ 2022

My sweet mom passed away on the evening of October 4th, 2022 at her home with me by her side, as well as Skippy her dog, and Kitty Boy her cat. She was born on February 14th, 1932 in Lehi, UT.

She has been reunited with my dad LaVar Pugmire, after being apart for 15 months. They were married 72 years and were inseparable best friends, so this is where she should be. She has also been reunited with my brothers Sterling, and Scott, and my sister Susie. What a grand reunion it must have been. She is survived by me, her daughter Patti Niesh, my husband Greg, sisters Doris Fisher, and Myra (Hap) Russon, brother-in-law Nile Russon, and sister-in-law Ann Miles and her 4 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on October 13th, 2022 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT. A small family viewing will be held at 10:30 am prior to the services.

Guestbook/Condolences

Beth is the most beautiful lady with a heart of kindness. Beth and Lavar along with their children gave us laughing, fun, and great memories. You'll always be in our hearts and memories; all of you, Beth, LaVar, Sterling, Susie and Patty.

With Sadness,
Sonny and Balinda

I started working at Draper Bank in 1967 and was there when the bank was acquired by Zions around 2000. Beth was the first smile people saw when they came in the front doors. Customers loved her. She was amazing at her job. As employees, we were more like a family. Beth was always fun and great to be around. Seeing her obituary today brought back a flood of good memories which spanned many years. This life was better for having had her among us!!

Patti, I am so sorry to learn of Beth's passing because I will miss my beautiful neighbor so much. Yet I am happy she is with Lavar again. You are such a special daughter and have been there for your Mom. Your actions speak love more than any words ever could. May you find peace in remembering your mother's beautiful smile and cheerful laugh.

Love you, Patti. I am sad to lose my dear friends and neighbors. I take great comfort in knowing that your mother and father are together again.
