Our angel mother, Betty Elaine Mackintosh Lauritzen, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2023.
Born May 20, 1923 in Salt Lake City, UT to Wallace Reiser Mackintosh and Zina Glenn Marx.
Married Charles F. Lauritzen on November 11, 1941 in the LDS Salt Lake Temple.
Active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with service in Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society organizations, as well as ordinance worker and assistant matron in the Salt Lake Temple.
Survived by children Terry (Kathleen) Lauritzen, Christine (Kent) Linton, Shelly (John) Barclay, 19 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, husband, daughter Charlaine (Doug) Atwood, brother Wallace (Betty) Mackintosh, sisters LaVon (Ron) Kimball, and Joann (Gary) Padley.
Funeral Services will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, UT 84092 with a viewing prior to funeral services from 10:00am to 10:45am. Interment at Brigham City, UT Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Huntsman Cancer Institute is recommended.
