Betty Lou Solomon Nielson passed away the morning of January 7, 2022. Betty was born December 4, 1940 in Ely, Nevada to Jack Solomon and Twila Angelos Solomon.

Betty gave all her love and devotion to her family. She loved taking pictures and making beautiful scrapbooks of her grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. Watching the Utah Jazz gave her such joy.

Survived by sister Claradene Wycoff, of Sandy, daughters Terri A. Downward (Terry D.) of Herriman, Ut, Tammi Kennedy of Salt Lake City. grandchildren, Jackie Rojas, Jill Kennedy, Odie Kennedy, Tiffany Mellas, Ashley Callister, Trista Bateman, Telsi Trujillo, Tanessa Trujillo, and Tyler Hardy. Betty will be dearly missed by her cousins, nieces, nephews and childhood friends. Preceded in death by husband LaRell Orr Nielson, daughter Tawni Nielson, her grandson Erik Chipp, and great grandson Aiden Goff.

Betty....oh Betty how I will miss my cousin! You leave us sad, but with such awesome memories....Mount Rushmore, California coast.....the trip to Reno for our 'Cousin Reunion" those were fun trips! You were usually always picking the right football teams to win, and of course all the discussions about the Jazz!
