  • Our sweet mom, grandma, aunt and friend, Beverly J. Gebauer, 86, passed away on December 12, 2021. She was born to Frank Virgil Barron and Folie Barnett on June 4, 1935 in Atlanta, Georgia.

    She married her childhood sweetheart, Edward H. Gebauer III in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They celebrated almost 62 years of marriage before Edward passed away. Their great granddaughter, Emmerson (Emmie) Rose Putman was born on the day Edward passed. Together they had three children, Laurie, Edward IV and Amy. Our Mom was a wonderful cook, seamstress, embroiderer, homemaker, gifted watercolor artist and writer. She loved to write poetry and she was the author of When Christmas Comes, a collection of her stories and poetry.

    Beverly served in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many callings in all organizations including Primary, Young Womens, Relief Society and Sunday school. She served as chorister, Primary and Relief Society Presidents and Bishop’s wife. She and Edward served a couples service mission in the Family History Center in Salt Lake City. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and family.

    She is survived by her daughters; Amy Pullan and Laurie Deane Wichman and her sisters; Loni Mannis and Sandy Jensen. Preceded in death by her husband, son, and parents.

    There will be a viewing Wednesday, December 15, 2021, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm at Larkin Mortuary of Riverton, 3688 W 12600 S, Riverton, Utah

    Funeral services will be held in Maryland on December 18, 2021, at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1875 Ritchie Hwy, Annapolis Maryland. A viewing will take place before the funeral from 9:00 - 10:00 am at the church.

    Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City, Utah, on December 23, 2021at 2 pm.
