An extraordinary life from humble beginnings, the influence and strength we were all blessed with by knowing Dad helped shape us into the people we are today and for that we are thankful. He loved and always wanted to play golf, his standard greeting was ‚ "hey let's go hit a bucket" . He was a Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus, a Chaplin in the Elks Lodge member of the Lions Club and did work with Bureau of Indian Affairs ‚ Urban Renewal projects.

Al loved his cowboy boots, was a great cook when he was not playing his guitar…. always encouraging words and optimism…. Never quit dreaming…. always looking for the next great money maker…..always an entrepreneur….always had a new business idea and wanted to tell you about how great it will be! May your soul rest in peace…. see you on the other side…. Love your kids, family and friends.

He is survived by his sons: Ken Rivera / Troy Rivera ‚ St. George Utah, daughter: Michelle Ortez -St. George, Utah, grand-daughters: Alexx Rivera, Sammy Rivera, Cassidy Rivera, Kylie Ortez; grandson: Carson Ortez and great grandson: Owen.
