Boyd Marvin Garner passed away on March 3, 2024, in Millcreek, Utah. He was born on September 1, 1949, in Dragerton, Carbon County, Utah to Bishop Marvin Garner and Leona Ann Millard. He was the youngest of 5 children.

Boyd served as a medic in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He loved the outdoors and enjoying time with his family and friends. Boyd enjoyed visiting with people and telling stories. He would always tell you he loved you when you were leaving.
Boyd is survived by his 6 children his wife Karen McGhee Garner. He is preceded in death by the love of his life Anita, parents, siblings Anne Yosh, Bud Gilbert, Vern Miller, Richley Harrison Miller, and Diana Carol Jones McKelvey.

We are grateful to his daughter Cathy Larsen for being there for him in the most critical time of his life, giving him many days of kindness, gentleness, and love.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT.
