Obituary
Brenda Jean Kennedy passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, surrounded by love.
Brenda was a woman who never met a stranger. She was the life of the party, made friends everywhere she went, and had a way of making everyone around her feel loved and welcomed. She loved people deeply and gave her heart freely. Above all, Brenda treasured her family and took endless pride in her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jon; her daughter, Alecia; daughter-in-law, Heather; and her beloved grandsons, Lennon and Dylan.
She was preceded in death by her son, Justin, and her parents, Charles and Beverly.
Brenda leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, friendships, and memories that will live on in everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Her greatest legacy is the love she gave so freely and the many people who will always remember her for her beautiful heart and unforgettable spirit.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Julie, Gina, and Marni, who stood by Brenda and our family through her final days. An especially heartfelt thank you to Marni, who lovingly cared for Brenda and managed her medications, remaining by her side until her final moments. Their love and compassion will never be forgotten.

Tributes
I remember Brenda at her Alecia’s baby shower, radiating happiness at the thought of welcoming a girl.
The most unforgettable nights were those we spent passionately debating names for my first daughter—Brenda preferred Daniel, while I was set on Dominique. Both of us were on the edge of excitement, her face lighting up with a smile as she looked at me and said, "Dominique." That was 53 years ago and I can still see her beautiful smile.
That moment, and her words, are etched in my heart forever. Brenda will always be my Soul Sister, a cherished part of my life.
I’m so sorry for your loss Jon. My heart goes out to you and your family. I will miss seeing Brenda out in your yard working to keep you beautiful home looking so good. Cancer sucks,
