Brian Wyatt Larsen

2021 ~ 2024

Brian Wyatt Larsen, born March 31, 2021, was a joy and pleasure to all who knew him before passing on January 6, 2024.

"Brian," as he was fondly known, is survived by his loving mother Juayma Larsen, his father Daniel Larsen, and his two older brothers Warren and Thomas Larsen. He also leaves behind a very large and supportive family from Idaho and the Philippines, those who cared for him in the hospitals and those who belonged in Brian's journey.

Brian had Beckwith-Weidemann Syndrome. He surprisingly overcame so many surgeries (minor and major) including Tracheostomy, Tongue Surgery, Ileostomy, G-tube and some other surgeries. He moved forward with several other challenges that met his little body and fought so hard that he was given the title "The little brave warrior and trooper," and that he really was.

Brian touched a lot of people’s lives. He was born into this world to change things for the better. We, as his parents, learned a lot from him; to be patient, strong and not to complain about every little thing.

He truly enjoyed watching COCOMELON (he's a big fan of it!). He loved having his lollipop with Biotin on it and playing with his elephant toy. He loved chewing the tag on his blanket (that’s his “binky”) and loved clapping every time we showed up to the hospital. These are a few of the many things he enjoyed during his short time here on Earth. His mom loved to sing with him because it made him calm.

His mom wishes he could have met his Lolo and Nanay and his Auntie's and Uncle's in person in the Philippines. They loved Brian so much.

We will miss his beautiful smile, his beautiful eyes, his hair, and everything about him.

We love you so much! We will miss you big time, Brian!

Services for Brian will be held Friday, January 12, 2024, at 2:00pm at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends and family may visit Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm, and Friday following the service from 3:00 to 4:00pm, all to be held at the Mortuary.

To our little love, grandpa and I will always love you and never forget that you brought such joy to our lives. You fought so hard to overcome all that life threw your way. Your beautiful eyes and gorgeous hair, your big smile and the delight you showed us all will stay with us forever. You touched more lives in your short time here than many who live out long lives. We love you and miss you so much Grandpa Zoran and Grandma Karen.
