Janice Anne Zundel, died September 18, 2013 under the watchful care of the ICU team at Huntsman Hospital. Born April 10, 1947, she was the daughter of Lucy and Dane Broadfoot, and is survived by her four loving children and eight grandchildren. In Hebrew, the name "Janice" means God is Gracious. Mom was known by all that surrounded her, as kind. People were drawn to her for her integrity, open minded attitude, and "tell you everything" opinions. Mom dedicated her life to her four children. She raised us to be loving, accepting and kind. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, especially when it included a lunch trip to the bagel shop. She had a flare for style, a green thumb and a love for her German shepherds. There are few words to describe the woman that shaped and molded our lives to make us who we are today. She was a person that celebrated life, loved the beauty around her, was grateful for her health and was loved by those who knew her.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Monument Park South Stake (1320 So. Wasatch Dr) at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing from 9:30-10:45 AM prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
