Paul C. Cutrer

1943 ~ 2013

A wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, teacher passed away unexpectedly in his home on Tuesday October 29, 2013.

He was born May 26, 1943 in Payson, Utah to Fonda Sorenson and Jefferson T. Cutrer, Jr. At age three his family moved to California where he lived until he was called to serve a mission to the Brazil North Mission 1962 - 1965. He met his future wife Virginia Moser in 1962 and upon his return they were married September 10, 1966 for time and eternity in the Los Angeles Temple. Paul was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. \"Every member a missionary\" he magnified that call throughout his life. He was a servant of the Lord who served faithfully in all church callings. He loved them all. His final earthly call, Ward Missionary. Paul and Virginia served as Stake missionaries, hosts at the Hill Cumorah pageant in 2010, and were just recently released as Inner City Project Missionaries, Spanish Speaking 2010-2013.

Paul joined the Air Force during the Vietnam war. During his tour of duty in the Philippines Islands, he was able to have Virginia join him for the last 15 months. They have traveled back to Brazil and many places since then, Always Together. Paul graduated from BYU Provo. He taught at South High until it closed and Highland High until he retired in 2005. He also managed the Stage Crew where he earned the title of \"Sir\". He was an amazing teacher. Former owner of Copy Quick-Mail Quick of Bountiful.

Paul is survived by his wife Virginia, children Becky Cutrer, Paul Thomas (Edith) Cutrer, Julianne Jordan, Lee Jordan, grandchildren Shawn (Aerielle) McDermott, Britny (Tyler) Woodhead, Cameron and Jessica McDermott, Jordan, Mason, and Reyna Cutrer, Chandler Cutrer, Lukas, Lily and Dean Jordan, great grandchildren Kilo and Marshall Woodhead, sister Janet (Jay) Todd, brother Jefferson Thomas (Valerie) Cutrer III, sister-in-law Jean (Ross) Chiverall, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends as well as the Northpoint 3rd and 14th Ward family. Preceded in death by his parents.

Paul- God Be With You Until We Meet Again. Viewing will be held on Sunday November 3, 2013 -Northpoint 3rd Ward, 1460 N. Morton Dr., Salt Lake City, UT from 6-8 p.m. and Monday morning November 4, 2013, from 10:30-11:45 a.m. with funeral services at12:00 noon. Internment at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S.
