Loved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend, Michael Ray Johnson, age 72, passed away at his home June 18, 2015.
Mike was born in Salt Lake City to Ivan Paul and Hazel Louise Marcroft Johnson on July 23, 1942. He Married Renee' Goss on August 27, 1965. The marriage was solemnized on August 27, 1981 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Mike Loved the outdoors and traveling new roads. He loved fishing, boating, hunting, and camping with his family. He was employed in sales at Dixon Paper/xPedx for 42 years, where he traveled the roads of Wyoming and Utah leaving a legacy of integrity and honesty to all he worked with.
Mike was an active member of the LDS Church holding many callings, but he most loved the calling of Cub Master.
Mike is survived by his wife Renee', 3 sons; Blake (Teri), Chad (Alisa), and Garrett (Heidi), 9 grandchildren; Luke (Kaley), Keara, Jessica, Mckenna, Megan, Madeline, Sarah, and Rachel, sister, Merilyn (John Schlegel), and brother, Edward Johnson.
Funeral service for Mike will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT, where a viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
