He grew up in Rose Park and had a wonderful childhood. He served an LDS mission in the Texas South Spanish mission where he met his sweetheart, Gerri F. Klein (BB). They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on January 12, 1973 and spent 41 wonderful years together. They were blessed with four beloved children and one grandson. Kevin spent his career in information technology at US West and the University of Utah. He had the pleasure of spending 4 Ω years as an inner city missionary with Gerri', serving the Spanish and Brazilian members whom he dearly loved. He had a deep commitment to the gospel and faithfully served his entire life.

Kevin accepted and loved all people, regardless of their differences. He was kind and fair in his dealings with everyone. He was a true friend to the underdog and marginalized. He was a skilled musician, played his tenor guitar beautifully, and composed and recorded many original songs. He loved spending time playing the guitar with his son Joel. He loved going to Hawaii with Gerri' and enjoyed many hours snorkeling with the sea turtles and whale watching. He accepted life's challenges, including ALS, with patience, dignity, and humor. He lived a very blessed and happy life and was adored by BB and his children.
