My deepest sympathies for her parents, her brother and sisters, and for Paul and her children, who shared the light of her smile and the warmth of her hugs. Dear Penrod Family,

I am so saddened by this heart breaking news. Carol was my best friend at Wasatch Jr High. We had so much in common and we had a lot of fun together at svhool. I oved seeing that she had 3 boys and one girl, just like me. Unfortunately we only connected once after High School but she always remained one of my favorite people from school. She really was a wonderful friend.

I pray Heavenly Father will carry you at this time and in the future. Please know of my love and condolences for you.

    Much love,

My heart hurts for you all and I am praying for the Lord's comfort to you all. A big loss in our temporal sojourn but am grateful we know of the resurrection and that our families can be together for eternity. She is a lovely young lady inside and out. My testimony of the resurrection and eternal life is without reservation.

I am so very sorry to hear of Carol's passing. I got to see all of Carol's emotions in the short, few months I knew her. From being understandably anxious in her pregnancy with Elizabeth, to being the loving and kind mother, wife, and friend we all knew she was. It was very clear her first priority was always her family and doing what was best and necessary for them. I will be praying for you and your family during this difficult time.

I knew the Penrod family years ago, but desire to extend tender thoughts to Larsens and Penrods alike, as well as any others touched by Carol’s unexpected release from mortality. I only just learned of her passing, but will now keep you in my prayers in the coming days. In the midst of all emotions and circumstances of anguish occasioned by Carol’s death, I pray you will all be granted moments of peace in your hearts.

    Most Respectfully,
    PAUL ALAN WILLIAMSON
