Our beloved wife, mother, grandma, great grandma and dear friend, Veloy Jensen Jenkins, passed away on June 27, 2016. The daughter of Noble and Donna Jensen, Veloy was born on February 24, 1940 in Bountiful, Utah.
Veloy attended Bountiful High school. She met the love of her life, Paul Jenkins, after he completed his tour of duty in the Army. They went on to raise four children. Veloy was a loving wife and caring mother. She enjoyed shopping, dining out and watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. Paul and Veloy would have celebrated 56 years of wedded bliss in July. They were the center of each other's lives.
Veloy is survived by her husband, Paul Jenkins; her children Carolyn (Rick) Gulbransen, Mary (Kevin) Rust, Paul Jenkins (Randolph), Jeff Jenkins; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister Mary (Dallas) Church; half-brother Richard (Lynda) Ronfeldt. She is preceded in death her father Noble Jensen; mother, Donna Garrett Jensen Ronfeldt and step-father John Richard Ronfeldt.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) Sandy, UT. A viewing will be held from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary located at the address above.
