Celia Carolyn VanCott Heusser, Loving Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt, passed away July 15, 2022, after a long illness. She was 88 years old.

Carolyn was born and raised in Provo, Utah to John South VanCott and Celia Anderson VanCott. She attended Provo High School where she met her first husband, Donald Clark. They were married in the Manti Temple, had three children together (Michael, Celia, Stewart), and later divorced. While attending BYU, she met Robert Heusser. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple, had one daughter (Marianne), and celebrated 56 years of marriage. Carolyn was proud to have graduated from BYU as a teacher in 1965 and was a beloved kindergarten teacher for 23 years before retiring. She was active in the LDS Church her entire life and served a mission in later years. She had a great love for the Savior and her family. She was all about love.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Robert Carl Heusser and three children, Celia Newell, Stewart Clark, and Marianne (Garret) Johnston. She is also survived by eight grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Sisters, and Son Michael Jay Clark.

She will be met with great excitement by friends and family who passed before her. She will be greatly missed as a mother and wife to those who she leaves behind.

A Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 20th at 10:00 am. A short funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. We would love all who want to attend to come in person or view via zoom. The viewing and funeral will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens located at 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) Sandy, UT 84092. Interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery following the funeral.

Although we live far away and years have passed Grandma will always, always be in my heart. Her love was a needed consistent, especially after dads passing. She was always supportive and loving for which eternally grateful. Thank you all for a wonderful service. I would love to hear more stories soon.
