In Loving Memory of Charice

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Charice Lee Smith, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She departed this world at the tender age of 41, from complications due to respiratory failure from contracting Covid. Charice left behind a legacy of love, strength, and dedication to her two cherished children, Dravyn and Novalee.

Charice was a beacon of love and warmth in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her greatest joy and purpose in life revolved around her role as a mother. Making sure Dravyn and Novalee had the best life she could provide for them was always at the top of her list.

Beyond her role as a mother, Charice held a deep love and respect for her parents, Ron and Janice. They were not only her inspiration but also her unwavering support through life's good times and bad. Their family bond was a testament to the enduring strength found in love, unity, and support to each other.

Despite facing the inevitable challenges of life, Charice approached every obstacle with resilience and determination, traits undoubtedly inherited from her parents. Her positive spirit was an inspiration to all who witnessed her journey. She worked tirelessly to overcome hurdles, demonstrating her commitment to providing her children with the best life possible.

Beyond her immediate family, Charice found her calling as a heavy haul transporter and transfer truck driver with Staker Parsons, Beck Street location. Charice was the only female employee to do these two jobs and excelled at her career. She loved all of her coworkers and found great joy at the wheel of her semi truck. She was a true friend for those around her. Her radiant smile and infectious laughter could light up even the darkest of days, leaving an incredible mark on the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As we mourn the loss of Charice, let us also celebrate the life she lived and the love she showed her family and friends. May her memory serve as a reminder of the importance of love, resilience, and cherishing every precious moment with our loved ones.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2024 where friends and family can gather to remember, honor, and pay tribute to Charice.
Location: Larkin Sunset Gardens. 1950 East, 10600 South Sandy, UT
Viewing: 11am - 1pm with graveside services immediately following.
After the graveside service, all are welcome to join the family to honor Charice at The Chateau located on premise. Light refreshments will be served.

Rest in peace Charice, your love will live on in the hearts of those you touched, and your spirit will forever guide us through life's journey.
