Obituary Photo for Chasen Lawrence LeVar < >

Chase LeVar was a beloved son, brother, grandson, friend and had a bigger than life personality. He passed away unexpectedly on May 14th, 2023 at the age of 16.

Chase even at a young age made friends easily and was often the one to pull his friends together. He was charismatic and could make anyone laugh. He loved to play video games with his friends and had a passion for cooking where he would look for new recipes to try out on his family. Chase loved to listen to a wide variety of music and loved to share it with his family.

Chase’s true passion was basketball. He worked hard to develop his skills starting at a young age. He continued throughout his life to push himself to be the best he could be. He loved his teammates and would often talk about his teammates and say “that’s my guy” as he referred to them.

Chase loved to joke around but he truly valued and protected his close loved ones. He was affectionate and loving. He loved to teach his family the new handshake. He was a how-to guy that was always trying to learn new things. He recently started to bowl with his friends and family.

Chase was the light of our life and was deeply loved by our family and many others. There will forever be a hole in our hearts and a missing part of our family. He will be truly missed and forever loved.

Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 at South Mountain Community Church located at 14216 Bangerter Pkwy, Draper, UT 84020. Services will be followed by a reception to celebrate Chase’s life.

Any attendee who has played with or against Chase is requested to wear their jersey. All other attendees are requested to wear casual attire as Chase would have wanted.

Please no flowers. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations will be accepted in Chase’s honor at:
