Clara will be missed. Her caring loving nature made her a wonderful wife, mother and friend. I trust she is dancing with Rich and angles in heaven now.

Obituary
Clara Rose Goulet DiBona passed away on June 25, 2026 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on May 5, 1948 to the parents of Lucien and Marie Goulet in Montpelier, Vermont.
She attended St. Michael's Elementary School and St. Michael's High School. Clara graduated from the University of Vermont, after which she moved to California. She worked for Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco until her retirement.
She married Richard DiBona in September of 1980, settling in Hayward, California. They traveled extensively throughout Europe, on cruises by sea and river. Adventures they truly enjoyed.
Clara was an expert quilter, and was a member of a quilting group near her home in Hayward. She was a veracious reader, and a very intelligent woman. But her true passion was being a devoted mother to her son Michael. Family was so important to her.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard; sisters Carol Hughes and Catherine Freehling. Clara is survived by her son, Michael and daughter-in-law, Julia; sisters Mary Lou Goulet and Suzanne Amidon, and brother Lucien Goulet; brother-in-law Roger DiBona and his wife Valerie; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Clara will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Clara will be laid to rest at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, California, next to her beloved husband, Richard.
Clara’s family would like to thank the staff of Bellaview Assisted Living and Ashford Assisted Living in Lehi and Draper, Utah as well as the staff of Renew Home Health and Hospice.
