Regt 2nd Infantry Division.
Army reserve service twenty-three years; Battery C 300th Armd Field
Artillery Bn Wyo Army National Guard. A Co 1st 19th Special Forces
Group Utah Army National Guard.
Married Pollyann Melko, later divorced. Four children; Stephanie Jasmine,
Paul Vance, Derien Beth, Patrick Ehren. Preceded in death by Patrick
and Derien.
Married Erma Salazar Martinez. Three children; John Vance, Matthew Vance,
Mark Vance. Stepchildren: Luis Jesus and Pauline.
Early work experience in agriculture, trucking and construction.
Taught sixth grade Worland WY three years
Worked construction Mtn Valley Homes, Lander, WY two years
Worked Litton Data Systems SLC seven years
Worked Olympus Aerial Surveys SLC two years.
Worked Sperry & Unisys Defense Systems twenty years.
Worked SOS Technical at L3 three years post retirement.
Preceded in death by parents. Preceded in death by brothers
James Franklin and Schuyler Tyrel Lucas and sister Mary Karen
Seney. Survived by sisters Tobin Ann Lucas Ratliff and Bonny
Blythe Lucas Bolinger.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 03 Nov 2021 at 12 Noon at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 1000 until 1130am at Larkin Mortuary (260 E South Temple).
