Cora Ellen Steele Jeffs, 78, passed away in Riverton, Utah, on October 28, 2022. Cora was born on February 8, 1944, in Spanish Fork, Utah, to Jesse Leon and Dorothy Iris Atwood Jeffs. She would eventually meet David Ray Jeffs, whom she married on June 14, 1961.
Cora was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved various arts and crafts and enjoyed creating new things. She loved having her sons involved in scouting and enjoyed the many scout meets and different trips surrounding the scouting organization.
Cora is survived by her three sons: Jesse, Ricky and David, her four grandchildren; Nikki Hunter, Teresa Freshaur, Courtnie Forsyth and Ray Jeffs; two great-grandchildren, Dezirae Hunter and Harvey Hunter and her two brothers Lloyd and Cliffton Steel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Jeffs; brother Lee Steele and granddaughter Katie Jeffs.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy Utah. A viewing will be held prior the services beginning at 12:45PM. Interment to follow in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
Cora also has a surviving sister [Vera Ann Wilkinson] and brother in-law who loved her very much. We are sad to hear of her passing. Knowing she is in a better place may help relieve that. May she rest in peace.
