I worked with Corey. He was a wonderful friend and always made my day brighter. He will be missed terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with Corey's family.

Obituary
Corey Matthew Plott, 34, passed away on July 31, 2026. He was a deeply loved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose absence leaves an immeasurable space in the lives of everyone who knew and loved him.
Corey was born on May 31, 1992, in Logan, Utah, to Tara Cupello and Matthew R. Plott.
He had a love for hiking, camping, traveling, and reading. Curious about the world, he delighted in experiencing new places, learning new things, and sharing what he discovered with the people around him. More than anything, Corey will be remembered for the way he cared for those he loved. He was a protector by nature—caring, selfless, and always looking out for others. His family and friends knew they could call him, count on him, and trust that he cared.
Family meant everything to Corey. He treasured the time he spent with those closest to him, and the memories, laughter, adventures, and ordinary moments they shared will be held close for years to come.
Corey is survived by his mother, Tara Cupello; his father and stepmother, Matthew and Lori Plott; his siblings and their spouses, Ashley and Ryan, Brady and Elise, Mavrick and Bailey; and his beloved nieces and nephews, Rowen, Ava, Millie, and Gracie.
Corey will be remembered for far more than words can capture: for the places he explored, the knowledge he sought, the people he protected, and the countless ways he showed his love. He was deeply loved in return, and the impact he made on those fortunate enough to know him will remain with them always.
