Joan passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 24th and is now reunited with her husband Merrill. She was born April 30th, 1932 in San Francisco, CA to Pearl Johnson and Lawrence Cavanagh.
Joan married Merrill Johnson in San Francisco on March 7th, 1953. Together they raised 2 children Carol and Bob while living in Kearns and West Jordan Utah. Some of their fondest memories were at their cabin they built together near Oakley, Utah. Joan enjoyed her years of volunteer work with the Pink Ladies at Pioneer Hospital and in ESA.
Survived by her daughter Carol (Tim) Johnson; daughter-in-law Chris Johnson; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband and son Bob.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 29th at 11:00 AM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy.
