Steve, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away in Fresno, CA on April 17, 2015 due to complications of COPD. Steve was born May 23, 1939 in Salt Lake City to Catherine Cannon and Morrill L. Davis. He grew up in Salt Lake City with his two sisters and one brother, graduating from West High School. Steve was an Army veteran whose service included a tour of duty in South Korea. He attended the University of Utah and enjoyed a successful career in technical writing and management working for Hercules, EDO Western, E-Systems and Utah Power. He was married to Diane Jackson for 35 years and together they enjoyed golfing at Alpine Country Club as lifetime members, spending time at the cabin in Star Valley, and especially being with family and friends. He loved golfing, fishing, good jazz, and U. of U. sports.
Steve is survived by sons Jerry (Kandace), Mark (Natalie), Greg (Julie), his siblings Morilene (Ted), Patricia, Donald (Patricia A.), and 6 grandchildren (Ethan, Rylee, Connor, Allyson, Spencer and Hannah). He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Diane, who he has missed dearly during the past year.

A memorial service for Steve will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 1950 E. 10600 S., where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
