On July 29, 2017 surrounded by his family, Larry Delbert Hill, was taken home to be with his mother and father. The son of Delbert D and Eleanor Soderberg Hill, Larry was born on November 14, 1932 in Ogden Utah. Larry met and married Harriet Morgan in Kalispell Montana in 1955.
He was a kind and loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather and was also a good friend. Larry was proud of the service her rendered to his country while serving in the United States Navy. He was an avid golfer and really loved the sport.
Larry is survived by his wife of 62 years, Harriet Hill, his children Robert (Lupe) Hill, Kathleen O'Neal, and Linda (Jim) Davis, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, his brother David (Shaunna) Hill and Blue. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law Jerry O'Neal.
Larry will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
The family would like to thank the Salt Lake City VA Hospital Hospice and Larry's in-home nurse Erica for taking such great care of him.
A viewing will be held in Larry's honor on Wednesday July 5, 2017 from 6:00 ‚ 8:00 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Lawn mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
