Marilyn Schow

1929 ~ 2018

Marilyn Schow was born January 22, 1929 in Washington, DC. She passed away peacefully at home on June 13, 2018 at the age of 89.

Marilyn is the second daughter of Doris Tucker and Ronald Bulklley, who had met and married in Salt Lake City,Utah. Marilyn\s older sister was Doris Cleo. When Marilyn was about five years old, the family moved to New Jersey for Marilyn\s Dad to work as a PhD chemist for Mobile Oil Company. In New Jersey Don Ronald was born, but only lived for two years. Finally, in 1938, Elizabeth Anne was born and survives her beloved sister, Marilyn. Marilyn\s family lived in a succession of small towns in South Jersey: Woodbury, Pitman, Wenonah, and Haddon Heights. Marilyn\s mother passed away, unexpectedly, in 1942 when Marilyn was just 14. Then Marilyn graduated from Haddon Heights High School and traveled to Provo, Utah to attend Brigham Young University. She transferred to Utah State to be near her sister Cleo, where Marilyn met and married John Schow from Brigham City, Utah. John passed away after 50 years of marriage in the year 2000. During their marriage, Marilyn was a faithful employee at ATandT for 40 years, and earned a respectable retirement as one of their diligent supervisors. She was Aunt Marilyn to Cleo\s children: Nadine, Steven, Susan, Stan, Peggy, Don and George. Likewise Anne\s children enjoyed her as Aunt Marilyn, as well: Skip, Cheryl, Ron, Sandra, Ted, Marilyn, Amy, Don and Dana.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday June 21st, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Capitol Hill Ward, 413 North West Capitol Street, Salt Lake City , Utah. A Viewing will be held from 10:00-10:45 A.M. prior to the services.
