Our loving and beautiful mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away Sept. 11, 2014 in St. George, Ut. After fighting a courageous battle with scleroderma she returned to be with her Heavenly Father, granddaughter and father. She was born Jan. 13, 1952 in SLC to Edwin and Beverly Smart Griffis.
She graduated from Hillcrest High School and traveled extensively. Her focus was always on her family and taking care of her 4 children. She loved sewing, cooking, scrapbooking and all crafts.
Mom is survived by her children, Noel (Scott) Sainsbury, Brett Cordova, Michelle (Will) Elmer, and Amber (Danny Jr.) Gilbert; 7 grandchildren with 1 more on the way; also by her mother, Beverly and a sister, Kathie (Roland) Maxfield.
Funeral services will be held Wed. Sept. 17, 2014 at 11am in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd., Sandy with a viewing prior from 9:30-10:45am and interment to follow the service. Online condolences at www.larkincares.com
