Dalynn Williams Thomas returned to her Father in Heaven on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the age of 45. Dalynn was born March 9th, 1979, in Tremonton, Utah, to Cynthia Wise Williams and Timothy Grant Williams. She married the love of her life, Daniel Levi Thomas, in the Portland, Oregon Temple on January 16th, 2004, where they were sealed for time and all eternity. Together, Daniel and Dalynn raised four beautiful and inspiring daughters: Mikaiella, Ember, Maren, and Dagny.

Dalynn grew up in the little town of Portage, Utah, and was lovingly nicknamed Dinzer Doo Lots Of Little Nothing (Dinzer Doo) by her family. She attended Fielding Elementary and Bear River High school until she moved to Wyoming in 1995. She graduated from Kemmerer High School in Kemmerer, Wyoming, class of 1997, where she was a member of and often a soloist in her high school choir and show choir. She performed with the high school drama club, most notably as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. She lettered in basketball and volleyball and was a member of the honor society. After high school, she went on to graduate with an associates degree from LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah; and then a bachelor’s degree from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon; after which, she completed an internship in Guilin,China.

Dalynn enjoyed music and loved to sing. She was passionate about photography and took thousands of pictures, her favorite subject being her four daughters. She loved tennis and competed ranked 4.0. She loved adventure and would pack her family into her car and travel to any number of wonderful places at a moment's notice. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and passionate about the Bible, which reinforced her deep and abiding belief in God.

Dalynn is survived by her husband Daniel Levi Thomas and daughters Mikaiella, Ember, Maren, and Dagny Thomas of Salt Lake City, Utah; parents Timothy and Cynthia Williams of Coalville, Utah; and her brothers Benjamin Jeremy (Misty) Williams of Washington Terrace, Utah, and Ryan Timothy (Tracy) Williams of Mapleton, Utah.

Throughout her life, Dalynn had an unforgettable and uplifting impact on all who knew her. She was fiercely devoted to family and friends. She exemplified love and was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed until the day we are reunited.

A viewing for Dalynn will be held on Thursday, March 13th, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. A second viewing will be held on Friday, March 14th, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at 589 East 18th Avenue, Salt Lake City, Utah, followed by funeral services at the same address beginning at 12:00 PM.

Daniel and girls - We were so sorry to hear about Dalynn's passing. I always loved her. She's always been so gracious and kind to me and Tessha, and such a wonderful mom. She was a great example for all of us. I'm glad Tessha has been able to be there with you guys this week; it's meant a lot to her to be able to be near. I will for sure be at the services next week (I'll likely fly in the night before). If we can do anything more to help please let us know. You're in our prayers and in our hearts. I know it doesn't help right now to hear "she's in a better place" or "God must have missed her," etc. Statements like this may be true but they don't help you feel any better. Right now you just miss her. We all do. People are just trying to be nice but, well ... just know that we loved her, we love you and your girls, and I know you'll get through this. You know the gospel is true and that the sealing power is real. We've all been blessed to have her in our lives. It was too short a time. Take care, you guys. Much love.

I love your Mama. So many memories of her and your family. I remember her taking me for a ride in her defender when she had finally gotten it! Her smile and her amazing laugh were contagious.
She was such a courageous woman and so eloquent. I will always look to her example of motherhood in my life. Love you girls.
